(Acts Chapter 6, verses 6-8, NIV) Text Box: Barnaul Russia Text Box: In 1994 a group of Americans traveled to Barnaul Russia to teach the gospel of Christ. One of the new converts was a young man named Dima Matveev who was attending Altai University in the city. In 1995, a group of Christians from Oklahoma returned to Barnaul and Dima was one of the English speaking translators that was a great help to that effort. In 1998, the teaching program Text Box: was turned over to the Sunset Bible Institute in Lubbock TX. Jerry Sisemore and his family were in Barnaul teaching at the time and he was invited to become Dean of the preaching school which he serves in to this day.
